Spent about four hours total completing various tank features required before closing this thing up. First I removed all the blue-plastic on top/bottom along the rivet lines. Second I scrubbed with a red Scotch-Brite pad the areas to be pro-sealed. And last, of course also the most time-consuming...I fabricated the vent-line bracket for the right tank. This turned out to be a royal PIA because the metal is just a little too thick to bend with your fingers. I tried various methods, but finally in the end I just used a pair of thin needle-nose pliers and incrementally bent the metal. I realize I'll have to open this up again before riveting and also when it comes time to actually install the vent line into the bracket. Hopefully that will go okay.
