Brief Description: Drilling Outboard Z-Bracket and Modifying Wing-Sta
Made some good progress today, but spent quite a bit fo time on reconfiguring my wing-stand. In simple terms, I had attached the end of the wing to the most outboard leading edge rib. Now that I must remove the leading edge ribs to gain access to the outboard z-bracket, I had to re-attach things to the main-outboard rib. This was a pain and you can see in Image 3 all the cleco's holding things together temporarily until I finished the work. I'm quite happy now, but I dread doing this on the left wing as well.
I also managed to remove the leading edge after wrestling with it for quite a while. The problem was the transition plate between the tank and the leading edge. Getting that to release took a bit of elbow grease. Got it though. Yay!
I drilled the outboard Z-Bracket using my 90 degree close quarters drill. That was about it for today. Will return tomorrow.
