Brief Description:  Prepped Edges & Dimpled Spars/Ribs

For the last few nights I've been prepping the Horizontal Stabalizer for priming and construction. In parallel with this, Katie has been woking on the paint booth. She now has the floor and roof nailed in. Next we'll mount the intake fan and filter.

WRT the Horizontal Stab, I finished match-drilling the holes and deburring the understructure. Also Jeremy helped to deburr the spar edges. We then started dimpling the ribs and spar. Only one screw-up so far. I double-dimpled one hole on the underside of HS-405 on the lower side. I think it will be okay, but I'm considering other options or repairs.

This portion has taught me attention to detail. After disassembling the entire structure, I later found nine or ten holes not match-drilled. Jeremy helped by assembling the right side again so I could drill things out. What a pain! I then realized that we had mistakenly drilled one rib hole at #30 vice #40, but had forgotten to drill the skin at the larger size. Well, that required another assembly just to drill one hole! Detail, detail.
