Joined by Katie and Jeremy, we divided forces and kicked butt. All three of us worked to get the elevator aligned, which took three or four tries. Removing and reattaching is a royal pain. Next time I'll buy the alignment pins from Avery. We ended up getting the Elevator Horns aligned almost perfectly. I'm very happy with the result.
Later, Katie broke off and started to organize all the wing parts. That will be something that drastically reduces the build time. Now we can go right to the parts bin and pull pieces. No more sorting thru little bags. Thanks Katie!
Altogether a great night. Celebrated the virtual completion of the Empenage with some cervesa at Jalisco's.
