Fairly productive night. Went flying with a student where we had a really good hour of training. Flew up to OKV for fuel, and along the way we ran thru slow-flight, dutch-rolls, stalls, etc. etc.
Spent the remainder of the evening working on the small things that are keeping me from finishing the empenage. Tonight I notched the lower H.S. Skin to make room for the Elevator Horns. I used the Dremmel tool again; both the cutting wheel and the sanding disk. That thing is great for detail work. I still need a little more precision for the 90 degree inside corners. Will have to keep looking for the right bit to make a nice small rounded inside corner in aluminum.
Last thing I did was to further notch the end-piece of the Stabalizer to make more room for the Elevator End. It was rubbing on the upper surface.
Overall a good night. Will come back on Saturday to check travel of the Elevator and to get started on drilling the Elevator Horns.
