Brief Description: Finished left tank Anti-Hang ups.
I didn't like how the plans called for twisting .020" sheet for the anti hang-up between the rib and stiffener. The first one I tried cracked a bit right at the twist. So I fabricated one without a twist and I like it much better. I also riveted on a cover for the rib hole. Not pictured in the plans but recommended by Van's to minimize fuel from flowing out of the inboard tank section during knife edge flight. Then I finished up with the anti-hang up that spans across the access hole. I'm not sure how useful that one will be and I think it will reduce my access to the inside of the tank. I couldn't get the flop tube to get hung up between the stiffener and the nut plates on the tank access doubler.
