Brief Description: Dimpled elevator stiffeners and skins.
I used my DRDT-2 to dimple all the elevator stiffeners then set up my dimpling table to do the skins. I set the dies up with a bit of 'pre-load' which gives a nice crisp dimple. Despite some bad press about the DRDT-2 in the forums lately, the tool makes clean and consistant dimples as long as you have the die pressure set up correctly.
Next is cleaning and priming the stiffeners and the inside surfaces of the skins.
