Brief Description: Andair fuel valve installation part 2.
I installed K-1000-06 nutplates to the fuel valve then drilled and countersunk as required to install the flat bar supports and the support plate. The Andair face plate has holes large enough to accommodate AN3 bolts which I think is overkill. I used flush head stainless steel (AN507C632R8) screws and very carefully countersunk the face plate mounting holes in a drill press to get them flush with the surface. The final version of the flat bar supports will not be drilled at the inboard ends as the instructions warn against this in case things shift slightly when the side skins are installed. I will wait to match drill the inboard ends until later.
