Began work on constructing instrument panel. Traced outline of instrument pod onto posterboard and then used that to make pattern on .063 aluminum. I then sanded the edges down to where the panel fit snugly into the pod. Next I took measurements of the MGL Odyssey EFIS, MGL V10 radio and the Garrecht transponder. I also am putting a banking indicator (bubble) in.
I had to make a second panel because I made the sides of the Odyssey to large (read dimensions wrong!). Second one turned out pretty good. In the 3rd picture (not shown), I also added cutouts for the warning lights above the first round cutout(radio) and the third round cutout (transponder)
