Good progress today. We worked on the straps that tie Bulkheads B&C together, as well as the corner wraps on the same bulkheads. The straps are realatively easy. I added 1 7/8 inch blocks of wood on the inside of the bulkheads and then clamped them to maintain a common width across the bulkeads. I'll remove them prior to final riveting. The corner straps were another story. We made a pattern for the first one, then checked it on the others. It fit, so we cut out all four. However, when drilling the inside corner, the rolled edge of the bulkhead is much smaller, in most places only a little over 1/4 inch. So, it is difficult to drill and maintain the maximum edge clearance possible.
We also re-checked the clips to tie the channels to the bulkheads in that area. Finally, we made a pattern for the Bulkhead skins and fitted one into place. We were very happy with the fit. We still need to make the upper skin that goes from side to side.
