Today, I continued working on the Right Wing Tip. I couldn't get it to slide over the aft tip rib and had to split it lengthwise. I made and taped some sheet metal spacers to hold the two pieces in place, finished drilling and then began my fiberglass work. I'm using Bondo Polyester Fiberglass Resin.
I also drilled the holes for the position light, and began work on the aileron control horn at the root end of the wing, Once the fiberglass work is complete, I'll remove the tip, put one layer on the inside, prime the framework and then do the final assembly work.
