Today, I cleaned the edges of 75 shims, and then match drilled a master to the wing rib location on the main spar, then match drilled shims in groups of five. I used a cutting fluid in a small cup with a sponge to dip my bit into every other hole. This was tedious work.
To clean the edges, I used my belt sander (bench model) and then the 3M medium polishing 6" wheel on my drill press.
