Brief Description: Riveted bottom skin of elevator
Today, I completed work on the elevator framework, then took it to the paint booth for a final touch up. I then cleco'd the bottom of the one-piece elevator skin to the frame, and riveted it to the frame. I cut out the trim skin section, as well as the center V cutout. I trimmed/filed the edges smooth. I also trimmed the front trim spar to fit, and removed the wire from the piano hinge. Good progress!
