Today, I cut the holes for the fuel guages in the upper fuselage sides, abeam the wing root. I wired the molex connector for the right wing lights (landing, taxi, and position), and then began to work on the wing attach fittings. That involved raising the tail and leveling the aircraft, moving my wing stand back under the wing, removing the strut, and then backing out the forward wing attach bolt. I have to cut the Delrin donuts to fit (act as shims) and then reinstall. I couldn't find anyone near the hangar with a bandsaw, so had to wait until tomorrow and do them at home.

I also had several visitors in the afternoon. The local welder Nathan, stopped by for an hour to chat. I got some good advice on making a few changes to my John Deere tractor. Then, a man from church, Dan, brought a neighbor boy, Josh to visit. Josh is working on his PP license and wants to be a crop duster. Finally, John Roser from Troy Airpark dropped in for gas and stopped in to look.
