Today I completed the hookup of the elevator trim. I had cut the wire earlier to make it easier to install the horizontal stab and yet anchor the wire throughout the tail aft part of the fuselage. I used DSub pins to connect the individual wires. I found I had the trim switch installed upside down and since I already placed the decals on it, I didn't want to change it. So, I mixed and matched the wires until I found the correct combination. I used heat shrink to hold each pin in place and then heat shrink over the entire bundle. Everything now works as advertised, including the lighted trim indicator. FWIW, I had also installed a trim off/on switch next to the trim switch in case of run away trim.
Then, I finished a few more cotter pin installs, and began work on the fuel system. I installed the drain valves in the bottom of the tank and the fuel strainers in the fuel outlet. Next, I'll drill the holes for the fuel guages in the fuselage aligned with the wing root.
I also messed around a bit with the aileron travel, still getting everything aligned.
