Image 1 shows an assembly of all the parts needed to complete the landing gear. Come to find out the springs I bought years ago are the wrong ones. Fortunately I still had the receipt and MSC was kind enough to give me a full refund. New springs code yellow for extra heavy duty were purchased as replacements. There is alway a bit of a pucker factor each time a new piece of stock is used. I had that gear leg tube for years. Now it is time to cut the tube in half to make the main gear legs. Image 2 shows the tubing cutter hard at work. I bought that tubing cutter for about 20 bucks. Got it home and procedded to drop it on the floor breaking the handle off. I welded the handle back on and the tool has worked like a charm ever since.
