Brief Description:  Wing Ribs

All your research will tell you that deburring, fluting and straightening is a reall balls ache. Knowing this in advance, and being a masochist as I am building both wings together, I decided on the old addage a little and often. I did 3 ribs and then had a break or sometimes just left it that. This way it wasn't as bad as I thought - but then I'm fairly patient!

Including deburring, starighetning, fluting, removing the labels, assembling both skeletons, drilling, deburring, cleaning, degreasing and priming took me nearly 50 hours. So when you get the chance to take a photo looking down the lightening holes you take it because you know the end is nearly in sight! PS the "marks" on the lightening hole of the 4/5th ribs is JPEG at work - the real things are smooth as the proverbial.

From now on it should be a lot more interesting.
