I used a CPC plug to connect the EFIS so that I can remove it fairly easily and then gain good access behind the panel through the large hole.
Post note 2013 - CPC works a treat and so easy to remove - out a few times to get at park brake valve assembly. Apart from airtalk/audio RCA jacks all pins were AMP (S604P) crimped and along with crimper (RCT-3) bought from B&C . The CPC is a 28 pin and male/female parts were bought from RS Online used D-Sub socket/pins (S604S/P) from B&C.The CPC socket was a bulkhead one and was mounted to a home made bracket attached to the forward cabin brace.
