Brief Description:  Electrics Progress Mid December 2011

Big day today as the panel became populated.

Well not quite!

The MGL EFIS is not fully wired up yet. I am using a CPC to connect the EFIS so that I can remove it fairly easily and then gain good access behind the panel through the large hole.

The CPC plug is virtually complete (this is fitted at the rear of the panel)

So after finishing off under floor wiring the next task will be to wire up the CPC socket to the EFIS.

Post note 2012 - CPC Photo added Works a treat and so easy to remove - out a few times to get at park brake valve assembly. Apart from airtalk/audio RCA jacks all pins were AMP (S604P) crimped and along with crimper (RCT-3) bought from B&C . The CPC is a 28 pin and male/female parts were bought from RS Online used D-Sub socket/pins (S604S/P) from B&C.The CPC socket was a bulkhead one and was mounted to a home made bracket attached to the forward cabin brace.
