When I planned my panel I knew that the area in the left side was going to be tight so I was quite particular about the measurements before I cut the panel.
It is very tight but it worked with one exception - the Radio/Intercom On/Off Switch (B&C Carling S700 2-3)!
When I planned the panel and made the calculations I used the dimensions of the single pole switch but the double pole has a slightly different design and so my switch was about 2mm too high.
A bit of surgery was required:
(1) I snipped off the side metal retaining plate
(2) Filed the sides about 1mm each
(3) JB Welded the retaining plate to the body whilst clamped
(4) Added some heatshrink as a back up in the unlikely event that the epoxy fails.
