As part of the cowl prep I marked and removed the oil door cut out. As I am fitting camloc fasteners instead of the butterfly fastener I left a flange of 1/2" all round.
I will also be fitting the Hidden Hinge suplied by Avery Tools - very expensive for what it is but if you leave it unlocked I shouldn't miss it - if I do it may be time to give up flying!
