Brief Description: Software Tools for Electrical System
I have used the following to assist in the planning and organisation of my electrical system:
Open Office - Free Office Suite including spreadsheet for load/wire ordering planning and making wire labels. Also used the drawing package to design my electrics panel (to be published later when finalised)
ExpressSCH - A free schematic program for making the electrical drawings. Once my project is complete I will post the completed files. True it's not as good as MS Visio but it is very simple, FREE and I think does the job pretty well.
