Brief Description:  Prepare base wiring

To wire the base, I was really concerned about the flexing of the cable and eventual wire fatigue and breakage. I decieded to do the coil trick again, this time coiling the wire around a piece of plastic tubing that would be secured to the base and to the frame of the plane. Two 3/8th inch holes are drilled into the base tube. Plastic bushings are placed into both. The cable comes out of one hole and a plastic tube comes out of the other. The wire is coiled around this plastic tube so that there is no bending at the wire exit from the base. The lacing secures the cable to the plastic tube. The first picture shows the plastice tube on the bottom hole in the base. I found that it was better to use the top hole for the plastic tube, since there was less overall bending of the tube and hence the wire. The tube and wire are secured to the plane frame using an Adel clamp.
