Brief Description: Exctract From Cons Build Log. Horiz. Stab
June 1 saw the beginning of the construction of the empennage. Plans were studied, jigs built and construction started. Co-Pilot Leonie (Wife) wanted to go away for a couple of days, and June was rapidly coming to an end with no major components built. It’s the last week in June and work begun on the horizontal stabilizer.
3 Days to clean all components, 1 day to spray paint and rivet the aft spar. All riveting came up very well.
2 Days to clean all vertical stabaliser parts, 1 day for spraying and riveting spar.
