The weather will start to turn cold and non-paint-friendly soon, but since the next few days look good, I decided to get to some of the primer jobs I have been putting off. I want to prime the GPS antenna support for the "other" airplane, so now is a good time. I taped off the engine sensor manifold (for fuel pressure, manifold pressure, and oil pressure), the landing gear axles, the smoke oil manifold, and backing plate, and especially the landing gear. The Grove one-piece landing gear stipulates a 2 part epoxy primer, so all these little nuggets will get the special treatment.
