Brief Description:  Adding Tailcone to Fwd Fuse – Deburring/Clecoing

I finished deburring and edging the F-842 Aft Bottom Skin Fwd and the much smaller F-828 Aft Bottom Skin – which is the last of the big skin edging that I will be doing…now on to the more exciting parts!
First I clecoed the F-889 Lower Longerons and the F-888 Mid Longerons to the F-824 Aft Side Skins – which gave them much needed rigidity. Then I clecoed the F-807 bulhead assembly back in place after it was primed and riveted together – then the F-818 Baggage Rib assemblies (and F-818 Bellcrank rib) were clecoed to the F-807 Bulkhead and all of the connecting holes were final drilled.

Then to the fun stuff… with Teresa’s help, holding the F-824 Right Aft Forward skin, I was able to cleco it on to the forward fuse…then we did the same for the left side. With both of the sides on - I clecoed in the F-808, F-809, F-810 Bulkheads. I started fiddling with the 2 aft bulkheads (F-811 and F-812) and the aft rear skin, but I don’t have it completely settled in yet – so I can’t call that step complete. Wow – the shop is feeling very small right now…
