The second iteration of the bending and measuring methodology worked out better - I would keep the 4' level by the vise and measure it against the longeron to get real close to the right measurement instead of having to keep taking the longeron out of the vise each time I wanted to check it.
I finally got the all the bends as good as I could make them for now in both upper longerons. It is a little difficult to tell exactly what you have as there is a lot of flex in the longerons - since they are 15' 3" long. Like I said, I feel like they are really close to where they need to be - but will make the last tweaks when I can fit them on the more completed fuselage assembly later on.
the better method - with the straight edge on the vise
all done - but they are 15 feet long and don't photograph well
another shot with them both in the vise...flipped to fit
