Brief Description:  Wing Tip #4 - P3 Hinge drilling

With the wider P4 hinges drilled to the wings it was time to work on the narrower P3 hinges that will be installed inside the wing tips. I first measured and cut them to size matching them to their P4 counterpart and marking them as to location. I then took off each set of hinges and marked the center of the P3 hinge and drew the center line and then marked the hole location based on where the P4 hinge hole was located. I didn't get real fancy and mark it exactly, I just eyeballed it and moved on as these will be countersunk riveted and covered on the wingtip side.

After marking the hole location, I punched each intersection to make for easier drilling and then drilled the new holes with a slightly smaller #43 drill bit. I did this so that when I drill the final hinge to wingtip hole it will be the final #40 size. Then I deburred the holes and clecoed the hinge pair to the bottom of the right wing tip and started to drill the final hinge/tip holes. I was only able to partially drill the first of 4 hinge pairs before it was time to meet the wife for a workout.
