I have studied the plans and have done more research on this next section than probably more than any other section up until now. This section is the beginning of building the tanks and getting the tanks to fit right on the wing spar so that it has a good fit between it and the other leading edge. I also have been over-researching because there is a fairly large number of people that use a different “method” to build their tanks that the method prescribed in the plans. The non-plans method still gets the job done regarding all of the steps in the original design, but it is supposedly better and is easier to achieve good results using the steps/method prescribed. The problem with this method is the person that developed it, took down his website and other people that used it are just referencing the old/down site. So it is hard to find good, working pictures and descriptions of this site. Anyway, I knew that the upgrade method has me move the hole by 1/16” inch so as to help with the blind rivets on the other side of the Z brackets.
