Brief Description:  Plan for Fuse fitting in garage

I measured out the fuselage length, the tailwheel length, the engine mount, and the engine from the prop flange back to the engine mount holes and added up all the lengths to get the total length of the attached components - we will call it 239".

Then I went about looking at the layout that would allow 239" of airplane to reside in the garage and still allow me to work in there, move through it, etc.

(* UPDATE : As I had just posted this log entry on the evening of 5/11, it has been several days since I did the work for this session, as such, I wasn't sure if the 239” measurement was correct, so I walked back out to the shop tonight and did another quick sanity measurement... while I was measuring the tailwheel stinger and wheel, I looked down and thought, hmmm, I could shave the distance down a bit if I made a rolling cradle or something instead of installing the tailwheel assembly...Then about 5 minutes after I uploaded the log tonight, Steve texted me and suggested I build, “a small crate and place a furniture dolly on it”, instead of installing the tailwheel! WOW, that was cool - and the timing was almost instant! I went back out and measured the length savings and it would be about 21” shorter…and Steve and I agreed, that I could remove a tripping hazard in the process. A win-win…I will have to look into that!)
