I did a test fit on the red cube support, and it was evident that I made a fatal error on the part. I made it with the angle going the wrong way, as the red cube was supposed to mount lower than the support and not above it, and since this part was not symmetrical, it was going to be nothing more than a "learning experience." I didn't have any 1/16" x 1.5" angle, so I made a trip to Lowes, where the shortest piece they had was an 8' stick. Back at the shop, I fashioned another red cube support, but the attach holes were off just a tad, and since I had plenty of material, I decided to make another one. This one came out perfect and the red cube fit where I wanted it, so it was off to the primer stage.
