Tonight, I started wiring the relay sockets for the trim motors. A few days ago, I ordered a new type of fast-on connector with a tang on top that will hold the connector inside the plastic socket, and they arrived today, so here we go. After measuring the distances between the four relays, I wired the 87a ground wires in series and connected them to the sockets. I am not satisfied with these fasteners as they are the curl-around crimp type. Even when I had an excellent crimp on them, I decided to return to the tried and true fast-ons when the second crimp of five failed the pull test. I surely do not want to be chasing bad connections on my trim relays sometime in the future.
