I clecoed the glare shield on and put the windscreen in position to see where I might want to locate the AoA indicator. Since most traffic patterns tend to be left-hand, it makes sense to locate the AoA readout cheated over to the left side of the glare shield. It took a while to install the glare shield, some flooring, and the seat cushion, but sitting in the pilot seat with the glare shield on and the windscreen in place makes for a more accurate assessment. I played around with a few locations from about 3" from the center of the glare shield to the far left and settled on somewhere between 3"-4" as the optimum location. I also decided I needed to paint the underside of the front skin where it extends beyond the panel, as that primer is very light compared to the rest of the gray interior.
