I went back to wiring the smoke oil relay and finished wiring and labeling the relay and wiring to the pump. I did have to do some metal removal and filing on the bulkhead to get the wiring from the aft panel to the baggage area where the smoke oil pump will be located. I needed a few more ground wires for the indicator lights, the defrost fan, and the smoke oil pump, so I got those knocked out simultaneously.
During this time, Bob and I also had a starter contactor discussion, and I ended up experimenting on whether it matters which post you hook up the battery cable and starter cable to - interesting findings.
