I have been planning the firewall layout of the ANLs, shunts, and smoke oil manifold and where to place each piece optimally. After discussions with Bob, I decided to make a stainless steel standoff that the ANLs and shunts will attach to and then attach that whole structure to the firewall with AN3 bolts. Using nutplates to attach everything will make this a one-person job and allow easier removal down the road and easier maintenance. Tonight I laid out the wire runs from the Starter Contactor to the ANL to the shunts and then to the alternators. I need to order more connectors, and they should arrive while I am snowboarding on the mountain with my middle school buddies...time for some relaxation in the mountains of New Mexico.
