I started wiring the smoke oil pump. I use a push button switch on the pilot's stick to turn the pump on/off. I also run the circuit thru an enable switch so that I do not turn the pump on at an inopportune time. The pump is a 4A pump with a 4A draw, so I am running the circuit thru a relay.
The first thing to do is to get the wire from the power source to the switch and then back to the relay/or pilot stick. My friend Ralph, who has built Van's RV and is also a friend of Bob, has offered to help with the documentation of the circuitry - so I am taking him up on it.
While I am here, I am also wiring the defrost fan (blue wire) wire set too. I labeled the green Smoke pump power wire, terminated it, and temporarily zip-tied it in place.
As the year comes to a close, it marks the 10th year that I have been working on the project.I started on 10/28/2012. I put in 247 hours in 2022, which ranks 5th most compared to all the other years...gotta get after it.
