I worked at getting the OAT sensor wires threaded up from the right wing root into the fuselage, through the main wing spar up through the right console, into the right gear tower, behind the panel, and over to the left side where the harness wires were waiting. Mission accomplished. I didn't cut the OAT wires as I will use a service loop or two if I find I have extra length.
I have also been working on the other airplane, the Kolb Firestar II, which I recently purchased. This, unfortunately, takes me away from the -8 project but will allow me some cheap tail wheel flying time very soon.
