I have been pondering whether to keep the big #10 C/B power wires longer so as to maintain the ability to pull the center panel out for maintence purposes without having to remove the CB wiring (power and bank). I had thought that I would just cut the #10 wires shorter and would just have to detach/attach each time I wanted to remove the center panel as those wires are large and in the way. But when I changed out the longer wire attach screws I realized what a pain they are to get to, and will be even more difficult to get to when the top skin is permanently installed. So, I decided that running them along the main trunk line was a much better option, so I installed the #10's and tidied the wires along to the trunk with zip ties for now.
I realize that I will still have to disconnect all of the switch wires in order pull off the center panel, as I have decide not to have long service wires for all of those switches...or have I?
