Brief Description:  Boost pump wiring

I got familiar with the Molex crimpers again as I wired up the boost pump power and ground. I first spent some thinking time – as I seriously considered just replacing the ring terminals on the boost pump and running uninterrupted wires to the switch and ground. But upon reading the boost pump manual, it says that removing those wires would void the warranty. Hmmm, is my pump still under warranty? Anyway, I am not sure?? Oh well, better to follow the manufacturer's recommendations. To get re-acclimated with the Molex crimping process, I practiced first on the two longer wires so that I would not have to be leaning over into the fuselage on the first set of crimps. That went well so I moved on to the Molex terminals for the shorter wires connected to the pump. The first wire went well, but the second one did not. I chose to cut that terminal off and have a do-over. The second time came out great, and I was ready to insert them into the Molex housing and make the connections. I ran the ground wire to the forest of tabs (FOT) with labels and then ran the power wire to the switch "area" and then ran the other power wire from the CB farm to the switch "area" with lots of spare wire. Terminals will be done when the panel is back in place.
