Brief Description:  Main wiring trunk work #2, Grounds

I spent a lot of time getting the main trunk "installed," which meant I first had to unwind a lot of the groups of wires that were rolled for shipping. Thick rolls of wires will run back to the aft cockpit and baggage area or wing. With that main branch of wires on the right side of the trunk handled - there were just the ground wires and the power wires left on the right side. I decided that since the FOT (forest of tabs) was ready, that would be the next area of focus. I decided to leave the ground wires at their original length and not re-label them. This saved a lot of time and added ease of future maintenance at the expense of some wire weight.

During the roll servo ground wire installation, I accidentally bent up the fast-on tab connector. I bent it back down, but immediately I was uneasy about the damage this connector endured. I flashed forward to a future time when I was having intermittent issues with my autopilot and couldn't find the problem, so I decided to replace it today when it would be much easier. I had to remove the two Garmin boxes to get to the damaged tab, which was on the bottom row, of course. Instead of taking the cradle out, I used the method of removing the screws on the bottom of the cradle to remove the Garmin boxes. This method worked well - even though I was working from above the cradle. Problem solved and my future self thanked me.
