I pulled the 24 count (FOT) forest of tabs to expand to the 48 count variety. The first order of business was to remove the old FOT and remove the painted under-surface that I will soon be covering up with the FOT, and it needs an excellent metal-to-metal contact for the grounds.
I went ahead and removed the Garmin boxes to get better access to the back of the bulkhead bolts, then removed the 24-FOT and then removed the primer/paint, then installed the 46 count FOT. I say "46" because even though I started with a "48", I had to grind down two of the fast-on tabs to make room for the second bolt that holds the FOT to the bulkhead. The good news is that the 24 and 48 FOT both share the same mounting holes - and you can easily remove and install either one (once you remove two posts).
