Brief Description: Antenna Doublers - #2 : More prep work
I decided to go ahead and remove the primer on the inside surface of the fuselage for a good metal to metal contact. So, with the doublers clecoed in place, I taped off the outline of the doublers, removed the doublers and removed the fuse primer with MEK, then removed the tape and re-clecoed the doublers.
I checked with the antenna guru, Don Pansier and he said that removing the primer was not necessary - as the drilled holes and the rivets would provide electrical continuity, but I consider this a belt and suspenders solution.
