Did some more labels - clean the surface, position the label with backing paper, check it with eyeball or measurements, remove the backing paper, press down to stick the label to the panel, burnish, remove top paper, replace backing paper and burnish again. There is usually more thinking time than working time… “Should I place this here or wait, to drill the hole to final size?...should the label be straight from the viewpoint or parallel to the surface angle?...”
