I ordered the Firewall forward kit in two different "stages" since I was told that the "kit" would take 1-2 months to arrive. I ordered some of the large items on the website and then just deleted those off the "FWF kit" order, via email, as I also had lots of deletions from sourcing elsewhere. Things like the exhaust, alternators, oil cooler, cabin heat box, etc. were purchased from other vendors.
So, for some reason, the baffle kit that was ordered early, did not have a packing list, so it turns out once the final kit items arrived with the packing list, I found out I was missing a few misc. items and that almost all of Bag 556-1 was missing - which is not like Van's at all. No worries, a quick email with the missing items was sent to Van's and Fedosia (the great) handled it!
So back to the actual inventory process - it was long and tedious - lots of small screws, washers, bolts, fittings and misc. hardware. But the last kit has now been ordered, paid for, received, and inventoried...so that’s a good thing.
I then put away the items for storage until needed.
