In prepping the tip ribs, I clecoed the ribs in place and countersunk the wing tip holes at the aft end. I also used this time to do a last mark up of the ribs and then removed any un-needed metal from the rib. This entailed opening up the gaps that the hinge pins slide thru to make it easier to see/install the hinge pins. I also scuffed the ribs, cleaned and primed them. I took a lunch break to let the primer dry in the afternoon sun and then came back and mixed up the last batch of ProSeal in the can as the hardener is all gone and there is hardly any part A so I must have mixed it properly 😊
Once the ProSeal was mixed, I spread a thin layer on each of the two sides of the ribs and then clecoed them into position, then installed the rivets. There was a lot of cleanup as normally happens with ProSeal.
