I was going to need a way to get to nuts 2-4 by way of going over nut 1 and the others in sequence…so it was on to nut-torquer V2.0. I drilled a hole in the 3/8” socket, mixed up some JB Weld, inserted the rod into the hole in the socket and filled in the void with JB. I made sure to cover the hole in the bottom of the socket so as to keep the JB Weld where it needed to be. I used a small square of plastic sheet held in place with a nut inserted in the socket. This sounds real easy…and it is easy, but I had to drill out the hardened steel socket which took a few hours and a few drill bits.. and lots of boelube drilling oil.
I will let the JB Weld set up in the “tool” overnight.
