I still had the wire supply laying around the kitchen and I needed to find a better way to store it that in the box it came in. So, I mulled over some storage methods in my mind as I scanned the garage for material that might help. With the bulk of the wire stored on spools, the "rolling wheel" method stuck out to me and I looked around to find something for the spools to sit on. I soon found so surplus irrigation PVC that fit inside the spool holes - perfect! Next, I just needed a method of securing the spools that I could quickly and easily un-hang and re-hang if needed. Rope with knots tied on each end hung on two screws seems to work nicely for now. I also labeled the wire that wasn't spooled so I could quickly identify the size. Those smaller lengths of wire will likely sit loose on the bench (or somewhere) as I will unwind them differently so they won't go on the hanging contraption.
