Brief Description:  Proper orientation of the parking brake

I did a test to see who would notice it first… ok, well, not really, but as they say, two heads are better than one...

When I installed the parking brake, I made sure to read the instructions and orient the inlet/outlet properly. You see, the outlet should go to the brake – as it states in the instructions. However, my brain saw that as “brake pedal” and so the inlet was going to the brake, not the outlet. My buddy Bob was the first one to ping me, so he would have won the prize, had I been testing my friends.

Un-assembling the parking brake from the tube fittings and attach bracket was fairly easy…undo that and then re-do that, no biggie. What took almost as long was just getting the adel clamps re-positioned to where the brake line did not interfere with the rudder pedal/brake pedals. But – now that is done.
