Had a good time at Airventure 2017 with my EAA Chapter 168 buddy Greg! We flew up on seperate airlines then rented a car and set up camp together. There was some rain, some cool day, some hot days and some more rain - but it was a great time as always! I also met up with my buddy Rob from Virginia and met his sweet wife Amy. His buddy Lindy was there again this year and I had met him back in 2013. Joe from Chapter 168 was also in attendance and we were all in some of the Garmin seminars. I also met Joe's brother James who is a Southwest pilot.
Needless to say there was lots of airplane watching and airplane discussion... I bought my ELT, my Infinity stick grip, some interior lighting and some books by Tony Bingelis.
I saw Bud Anderson, the highest ranking (living) Ace. I saw the only two flying B-29's, a dozen B-25's flying and much, much more.
