I finished off riveting the rest of the skin to spar rivets on the left side skin and then started repeating the same steps on the right side skin. I riveted in the 707 front rib, but had a bad rivet that bent the rib flange away from the skin slightly when I drilled it out and used the punch to push it out....the next rivet that I bucked was not going to work either as I should have used a longer grip rivet to grab the slightly bent flange... The best solution was to drill the hole up to a 1/8" (glad it is on the bottom side) and use a cherry max CCC-42 countersunk pull rivet. A little filler and paint should cover it up nicely.
After that I was able to cleco in the front spar and set the pull rivets to the 708/702/707 ribs and spar. Tomrrow will be more rivetting of the skin to the front spar.
